In 2006, UMF launched a stewardship ministry to benefit local churches throughout the NC Conference. This cooperative effort, called United Methodist Legacy Partners, is being led by Conference institutions, agencies, and ministries to deliver planned giving and endowment education services to local church leadership. While this effort is new, the tradition of this service among its members is not. Each has strong ties and deep historical roots within the Conference serving the special needs and benevolent ministries of the Conference throughout their histories.
The mission of UM Legacy Partners is to provide planned giving and endowment education services to the local church to benefit the ministry of all local churches throughout the Conference.
